International Needs is a global partnership. The key to our approach is our network of gifted national leaders who have a strong vision and purpose. As members within the communities they serve, they’re able to build trusting relationships, driven by a passion to minister to their own people. This approach has been extremely effective.

Jean and Esaie Kone – International Needs Burkina Faso

To illustrate our international partnership model, consider the country of Burkina Faso in western Africa. International Needs Burkina Faso (a Lead Partner) operates schools, medical clinics, and outreach events. Our Support Partners in New Zealand and the USA provide support for the events, while the UK provides funding for the clinic, and Canada supports water projects. This is the beauty of our model – multiple partners working together under the leadership of Burkina Faso.

We focus on long-term development projects and programs that have lasting impacts. The goal of our program design is to empower communities to continue on their own long after our part is done.

We strive to be open, transparent, and accountable in all our dealings. We constantly check ourselves to make sure we’re doing the right things, for the right reasons, in the right way.
